Are you implying that Toyota buyers are not too smart? ;)

According to articles in today Tribune Newspapers, Toyota has issue yet
another safety recall, this time in Japan, and is reporting that the
Congressional Committee investigating Toyota, is saying most of what Toyota
is doing is PR and about trying to derail the volumes of class action cases
around country and the world than actually fixing the problems with their
vehicles. ;)

The 'mechanical' problem was taken care of when Toyota redesigned the
accelerator, what remain is a solution to the unintended acceleration
problem, in the engine management microprocessor, that is causing some
Toyota models to run out of control.

Toyota needs to add a default to idle, for the fuel and ignition when the
brake is depressed, as in the case with some of the other manufactures
engine management microprocessors
