When you say that the grade of oil is the 5W-40 original, are you saying that the oil is the original oil that came with the car o that the oil is what the Toyota dealer uses when changing the oil? But may be you should use a "heavyer" oil, that has become a known cure for these new diesels here. I guess Ray knows much more about that. Are you doing mostly short trips? Does it have particle filter? That may influence the oil consumption. AU |
