The manufacturer, which also made the pedals that led to the massive Toyota recall in January, denies there is a problem. By Jerry Hirsch, Los Angeles Times Chrysler Group said Friday that it would recall about 25,000 Dodge Caliber and Jeep Compass vehicles because of sticky gas pedals. The recall of the 2007 model year autos follows a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration probe into the problem that surfaced in April after federal safety officials received five complaints of binding or sticky gas pedals.
