25,000 Dodge Calibers recalled for sticking gas pedals. Nowhere near the
numbers for Toyota, but then, who actual,ly *owns* one of these trumped-up
Noens?

About 25,000 of the 2007 model-year vehicles will be examined after NHTSA
received complaints about sticky gas pedals. The manufacturer, which also
made the pedals that led to the massive Toyota recall in January, denies
there is a problem. By Jerry Hirsch, Los Angeles Times

Chrysler Group said Friday that it would recall about 25,000 Dodge Caliber
and Jeep Compass vehicles because of sticky gas pedals.

The recall of the 2007 model year autos follows a National Highway Traffic
Safety Administration probe into the problem that surfaced in April after
federal safety officials received five complaints of binding or sticky gas
pedals.

NASA, who used to send people into space, has been charged with getting to
the bottom of Toyota's problems.

The Russians have taken on NASA's usual dutie2, at $250,000 per astronaut.
