That is rubbish. Your argument is similar to Al Gore's "the
Constitution is a living, breathing document" where he suggested what
was written in that standard doesn't apply today. The RFC is valid
until rewritten by a group of accepted authorities. Whether you choose
to follow the guidelines is a different story and your attempt to
justify that horrible signature is a woeful attempt in mental
masturbation. Make your own rules if you wish but don't try changing
them for everyone else based upon how you feel.
