From: Jane Galt on 10 Apr 2010 21:27 Our seat belt female clip ends are way down near the seat and hard to buckle there. Does anyone make a short rigid seat belt extender? I see some on Google that are 9" but all we need is about 2", just to get it higher and make them easier to get to. -- Jane Galt "There is no difference between communism and socialism, except in the means of achieving the same ultimate end: communism proposes to enslave men by force, socialism - by vote. They can order a custom seat belt extender, but it won't be rigid. -- Ray O (correct punctuation to reply)

Does anyone make a short rigid seat belt extender? For some reason, ALL Toyotas are like that! Even my '05 Scion is hard to buckle the belts. By comparison, my Subarus have longer seat belt fasteners, and I tend to use them more in these cars than in my Toyotas. I wonder if that could be a solution? If the buckle fits the receptacle, you could get some out of an old Subaru and bolt them to the floor. It's not hard to do, you just have to have the right tools. > > I see some on Google that are 9" but all we need is about 2", just to > get it higher and make them easier to get to.

When I can just get an extender? Didn't realize they had ones like the one you referenced. All I have ever seen are the long, belt type.
