I have only ever driven one for about 10 minutes, it was a test drive of a
brand new '07 in Lawton, OK. But I have been on a few owner's groups for
many years and know the car almost perfectly. Still have more to learn
though. The latest was a SKS (smart key) behavior question I have been
researching, for laughs a few days ago I pushed the little black "lock
doors" button on the driver's door of one parked in a parking lot and the
car responded with 1 long beep which usually means either a FOB was left
inside the car or there is a door or hatch left ajar. Not wanting to be
arrested I didn't investigate further but I have been trying to figure out
if that beep also happens if the FOB is out of range.

Hint: You can't "hide the key" above the sunvisor...
