It's called PLX and it doesn't just throw odb codes. IT tells you
pretty much everything. You can get pretty graphs too.

See, there's the thing. Scanguage needs a big honkin laptop. PLX
Devices uses a wifi network, can be perm attached up under your dash
where you don't see it and, when you want to use it, you simply turn
on your IPHone or IPod Touch (I use the Touch).

I can see lots of advantages to the PLX device but I don't have an iPhone or
IPod Touch. I'd have to wait for the Blackberry version to come out.

The Scangauge needs the laptop if you want to download the info, but if you
are just interested in looking at instantaneous readouts, it should be good
enough and can be mounted somewhere on the dash.
