We hear this in the cabin, and it doesn't sound like it is coming from anywhere in particular. We only hear it if the AC or the fan is on, but it doesn't sound mechanical, not like a belt or something scraping. It is infrequent. Anyone have a guess? BC

Anyone have a guess? > > BC Sounds like a leaf or something in the intake system. These can get caught in just such a position to vibrate and make sounds. It could also be a vacuum leak....do Toyotas use vacuum to actuate the climate control doors like say Chrysler products? I've never had to delve into that on a Toyota, but if they do, it's a likely place to look. Regards, DAve
