I agree. Better for all that tourism money to go to a foreign country. No
point in trying to bring it here.

What's really bad is that if the games had come to Chicago, construction
companies would've charged money for whatever they had to build. In any
other American city, similar companies would've done the work for free out
of the goodness of their hearts.
