Our economy here in Denver is better than in some other areas, so cars cost
more.

I'm wondering what it costs to ship a car across country?

Vehicle shipping costs vary widely depending on the shipping method and
distance. Putting a car on an open transporter and delivering from Miami to
Denver is a little over $800. Using one of those car relocation services
drive your vehicle is an iffier method that is probably a few hundred
dollars less.

Buying a vehicle from a distant seller without seeing or driving it seems a
little risky to me.

True.

I just discovered that Yahoo Cars has a better selection than Craig's List.

There are so many scams and ripoffs happening on Craig's that maybe no one
trusts them anymore for cars.

try autotrader.com

large metro areas like Los Angeles or San Francisco might give you
better prices.
