If your heater blower motor only works on one speed setting or none
it's because the blower resistor is burnt,read below for full details:

Heavy blower resistor (Toy EPC calls it a cooler/coil resistor,fan
coil resistor) for fan Toyota # 88635-89103 (85-86 4-Runner,4 speed
fan) & Toyota # 87138-89105 (89 pickup):
