100Mb wasn't really in sight 15+ years ago, but it was most definitely a
recommendation for government subsidized computer/internet access in every
home.

If you are unfamiliar with Newt Gingrich's desire to control the internet
(full government censorship came along with his desire for subsidized access
for everyone), then it goes a long way towards explaining your stance on the
