AFAIK, the cheapest synthetic motor oil currently available on the
retail market is the 5-quart jug of Pennzoil Platinum sold at Wal-mart
for $20 a jug, or $5 after this $15 rebate is applied (good through
Nov. 30).

The rebate is good on either a 5-qt. jug or five separate 1-qt.
bottles. Pennzoil took about 6 weeks to pay me.

A couple of months ago, some people got this rebate plus another
rebate for a Wal-mart gift card, through a rebate offer on the 5-qt.
jug itself.

My camry is supposed to be of the 'sludge prone' models and I even
got an extended warranty for that in the mail from toyota. I never did
anything special for it and never had a problem..
