Do > your homework. That is what I am trying to do. I was impressed with my Corolla test drive yesterday, but I am spooked by the news of the last few months. I've heard people say that reports of problems with Toyota's are statistically insignificant and far less than other car manufacturers. Yet I haven't found any articles with the sources of those numbers. If I could find government stats( citations, pages, paragraph numbers ) that would say something like Toyota's had 5 problems out of 1000, other car companies had 4 problems out of a 1000.......I might feel reassured. Haven't found any articles on the web yet that point to government regulatory numbers in a way that I could go look them up.
