I don't remember the back tail lamp protruding out like that... The
nighthawk and the yamaha I had after this one were cool bikes but they
always seemed to be missing something.... chain drive... Now all the
cool pocket rockets have gone back to it...Shaft drive on a bike is
just not natural..

They were OK. My dad wouldn't drive anything else. He even bought a Pinto.
Once he tried a Plymouth Barracuda. Someone stole it (my fault; I left the
keys in the ignition when I got tired of waiting for him to come out of a
mall) in December of 1965 and stripped the gears. Anyway I got the Falcon in
'71 cuz a neighbor decided to sell this one, which belonged to the wife. It
was the most gently used car ever.... It cost me $500. I named it "Mr. Blue"
and at age 7 it looked like it just rolled off the assembly line. I pushed
the odometer up to 100k miles in less than a year then sold it to a friend
who drove it another 200k and then he sold it and I lost track of it. The
back seat was big enough to sleep on comfortably.

The Monterey was a reject from my mom, I got it for $325 in '73 and sold it
soon after because it was such a gas hog.

The Capri I had to sell when I was down & out, unable to afford repairs. It
got wrecked the day after I dropped my comprehensive coverage. Fortunately I
was still able to get $900 for it.
