From: peternoon on 4 Dec 2008 04:19 Well somebody is dumb at my end. It turns out that my daughter (I blame her) closed the door with the seat belt hanging out and the door light was left on. This was enough to discharge the battery completely in just over a day. I renewed my car rescue membership and waited one day to call them; they came and gave me a jump start. Thanks for the advice, I will keep it for when I need it next. I want to keep my Celica, even when I buy a new car. Does anybody think that 1995 Celicas can become vintage cars in the future? They have a nice design

Unfortunately, the car community does not look on Toyotas with the same feelings we do. They view them as 'appliances' rather than "Motor Cars". There are few exceptions, like the Toyota 2000 GT from 1968-1972 and the original Nissan 240Z. Some Supras are 'admired', too. However, others of us like to see a Toyota or other Japanese car in good condition running like a top, especially if we've owned one before.
