Tires have a rating on them that goes something like 400AA, where 400
represents the tread /wearlife, the first A is the traction, and the second
A is the tendency to generate heat. The A's have a range of A to C, C is
low. The 400 has a range also, 400 is near the high end, but there are
higher numbers, but there are more lower numbers.

A cheap tire rated at 260CC would not be any good, and a tire rated at 520AA
would be excellent.

The temperature rating for a tire is the tire's resistance to heat, not the
tendency to generate heat.
