Note that these are not standardized, but vary by manufacturer.
Some tires are rated 900A, but are no better than another maker's 390A

Grade A resists heat the best, or to say it another way, generates heat the
least. Whatever. A is better than C for both of the alpha grades.

Yes, an "A' is better than a "C: when it comes to tire temperature ratings,
but the rating has NOTHING to do with how much heat a tire generates. I
should have said that the temperature rating refers to the tire's tolerance
to heat, not resistance to heat.
