From: Hachiroku ハチロク on 8 Mar 2010 18:45 These guys are so creative when it comesw to taxes. Too bad they aren't as creative when it comes to saving. Today's debate: taxing soft drinks. I think if they could tax air, they would.

Paying more for it won't change that. Hey! How are you doing? Didn't make me stop smoking, opnly pissed me off that a pound of RYO tobacco went from $18 to SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS OVERNIGHT! (Mass piled their special tax on the same day...I think they tried to figure out how many cartons you could roll with a pound and came up with 50...) Luckily, NH is on my 'route' and it's only $35 there. Electronic cigs are $22 and last for about three weeks, with spare parts costing the equivalent of two packs of Mass cigs. Now that I have my 'arsenal', made my own power unit that plugs into my lighter socket, and have enough juice for 2 months, 'smoking' is hardly costing anything! And I can BREATHE again! Now, let's see if we can get you a formula for Pepsi...
