Weiner melts down on the floor because "Republicans" wouldn't back the
"First Responders" bill. Rants and raves about "Republicans" turning their
backs.

WHy didn't the bill pass on Democrat votes only? They have enough people
to pass anything.

House Floor Speech Meltdown of the Week

Yesterday, New York Rep. Anthony Weiner tried to channel Nikita Khrushchev
minus the shoe and even some of the dignity, believe it or not. These
outbursts aren't rarities for Weiner, but this hissy fit was especially
'roid-ragey.

That is what is needed. I applaud Anthony Weiner. More republicans
need to be called out. We didn't elect these guys to act like their
jobs are to enact symbolic warfare. The republican strategies are
wearing thin. They were elected to govern. If the republicans need
their testosterone stirred they should do paintball warfare.

What about the Democrats that didn't vote for it? Why didn't he say
anything about his own party? If he needed more votes, why didn't he go
after the Dems that didn't vote for it?

Sonds to me like there's something fishy in the bill, some kind of rider,
that some people don't want their name associated with...

Most dems voted against it because of the amendments the republicans
added, one being the extention of the bush tax cuts for the wealthy.
Wiener was correct, the republicans are stalling everything until the
mid-terms. They are putting the farm on one bet. Meanwhile the
American people suffer. A simple fix - you want a filibuster, then
bring in the phone books and talk, talk, talk.

Whiner sees November approaching and is frantic to get Dhimmicrap
