It didn't for the Flying Imams, however. Look at what Roasted Nuts is being charged with: attempted destruction of the aircraft. Never mind attempted murder of 300 people, or trying to blow the plane up over an American city, where hundreds more may have been killed.

Back in 2005 Kennedy, Reid and a couple others went to Gitmo to expose the abuse going on there. They talked about it for MONTHS before the trip. Kennedy mentioned something about it in his web site's blog, the usual pol double-talk when they realized they've inserted their foot in their mouths...up to the knee. No reason to close Gitmo at all except to make the Ultra-Libs happy. |
