From: Hachiroku ハチロク on 11 Jan 2010 15:11 Not because he did poorly in the Senate cadidate's debate. In fact, he did quite well. He actually did some thinking for himself. The Democrat cadidate was preening her feathers while parrotting the Democrat talking points. The real rub came in the form of Joe Kennedy (as they've been saying for months, "No relation") He is the Liberatarian candidate for the Senate seat. He is quite young to be considered for Senate, he'd do better in the House of Representatives giving Nancy Pelosi heartburn. But he spoke openly and honestly, something we need in governemtn right now. Unfortunately, he's going to take Independant votes from Brown (the Rep) and will assure a win for Coakley, who shouldn't have even be allowed anywhere neear Washington. AWK! Polly wants a cracker!
From: ron on 12 Jan 2010 11:34 I heard she spent a lot of time referring to the "Kennedy Seat" and how it [the seat] must be dumbocratic to keep the balance and be true to "his" ideals? I'd sure think the FDH people of Mass would get sick of being taken for granted that a rum-runners family legacy was more important than voting for someone qualified. From news stories, I gleaned she refused to directly answer any questions?
