It also appears that he will handily win a second term as President in 2012

Only if you're still blind.

Hillary Clinton may have lost the Democratic primaries to Barack Obama,
but it now seems that the current Secretary of State is more popular than
the President among Americans.

A recent Gallup poll shows that President Obama's favorable rating has
dropped by 22 percent since he first took office in January—down from 78
percent to 56 percent. This is the lowest Obama's favorable rating has
been during his presidency.

Over the same period of time, Clinton's popularity has dropped by only
two percentage points—from 65 percent to 62 percent.

The White House war with Fox News certainly won't be ending anytime soon.
Especially, after Fox released a poll today showing that only 43% of
voters would vote to re-elect President Obama in 2012. Six months ago the
same poll found the number that would vote to re-elect the President at
52%.

The President's approval rating, according to the Fox News poll sits at
49%. His average approval rating through the first term so far sits at
58%. Obama still is convincing enough to the American people that he is a
strong leader. Six out of ten Americans believe that the President is a
strong and decisive leader. Here are more of the findings:

* 41 percent of Americans say they approve of the job Obama is doing
and 43 percent disapprove of the President's job on Afghanistan. * 44
percent approve and 43 percent disapprove regarding Iran. * Voters are
evenly split on the economy with 48% approving, while 49% disapprove.
* On Health care-42% approve while half disapprove, 50%. * 65% believe
that Obama did not deserve the Nobel Peace Prize.

What is also bad news for the President, for the first time this year
voters prefer Republicans over Democrats in the 2010 mid-term elections
42% to 38%. That is why you are seeing the Administration attempting to
rush through this controversial legislation. They are smart enough to see
the writing on the wall.

Appears to be anything but a runaway.

Only if the Nobel Committee decides the race.
