You're forgetting that back in 2006 or 2007, many of our generals
threatened to resign if GW Bush ordered an attack on Iran. Also back
then, he and Cheney were given a briefing about our military options
and were told that while we could knock out about 75% of Iran's
military capability, including its nuclear program, but generals who
gave the presentation recommended against it. I doubt they had
considered MOABs and similar bunker busters.

You also don't understand how dissidents think. The Iranian
opposition is now spending all its energy against the government, but
as soon as the US attacks Iran, even the most anti-Iranian, pro-
American ones they'll turn into Iranian patriots who'll want to kill
all Americans.

But remember: Kennedy ended the Cuban missile crisis through
negotiation from a position of military strength.

GW Bush could have ended the Iranian nuclear weapons program though
negotiation from a position of military strength in early 2002, when
we had just defeated the Taliban. But GW Bush not only let that once-
in-a-century opportunity slip through his fingers; he never even
realized it was ever in his hands. Do you agree, or do you disagree?

And then what would you do? Because according to our generals, a
massive attack that includes MOABs and other bunker busters won't be
enough to complete the job.

Obama could too. If he had the cajones.

Kennedy also tried, and failed at the Bay of Pigs.

I doubt it. Traditionally, our military has been reluctant to launch
attacks, unlike our civilian leaders who've never served or
experienced war. And in strategic exercises going back to the 1970s,
it's always been the civilians, not the military, who've escalated to
nuclear weapons.

The more you write, the more you explain why you came close to getting
a psycho discharge from the Navy.

Whatever you say, fool.
