From: Mark on 4 Sep 2009 10:18 What maniacs? People who disagree with her? Did you see anyone rush up and bite her finger off? I wonder how her statement "what happens to the least of us is the definition of who we are" applies to her views on abortion? You'll have to do better than that, the "maniacs" are winning. :-) On Sep 3, 8:23 pm, matrixxx09 <matrixx...(a)gmail.com> wrote: > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsP5dkNF38w > > I wonder how may of those maniacs will be going to church this > sunday.

In my town the Mayor voted to approve a rezoning ordinance that would haved benefited him financially because he had stock in the company that was trying to sell the property, and the sale was contingent on the rezoning going through. Someone filed a complaint with the Fair Political Practices Commission, and (three years later) they agreed that he should have recused himself from the vote, but there is nothing they actually do about it. The rezoning ordinance passed, and then the residents rose up in revolt and reversed the rezoning in a referendum, something that rarely succeeds.
