You did not hear what was said on TV about how badly the Mayor of New Orleans screwed up, or that the Governor of Louisiana id not know the President of the US can not deploy troops within the country and that she had to ASK for troops. Katrina did not only hit Louisiana, it also hit Texas, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. Those states run by Republican Governors did not have a problem getting federal add their Governors asked for. Only the state and city run by Dims had problems.
