It's useless because you don't live in Mexico or El Salvador, and it doesn't threaten your survival. Our own prisons are overflowing though.

This is not true at all. The "Temperance" movement that led to Prohibition was an unlikely alliance of atheist socialists and do-good busybody church ladies, who had only one thing in common, the desire to tell other people how to live their lives. The Democraps have always had excellent marketing, and have been able to convince every conceivable special interest group that they support their respective causes, including stoners. Of course, Democraps do not actually support marijuana legalization, but this doesn't matter, because stoners beLIEve they do, and vote accordingly. There is a very slight difference between Republitards and Democraps regarding marijuana use. Republitards want to criminalize drug use and punish the drug user with imprisonment. Democraps view drug use (besides their own) as a "sickness" and want to "treat" the drug user by involuntarily committing him to a mental hospital. Calling a cage by a different name makes it more "progressive."

Presently, the DEMONrat variety is in power.

Presently, the DEMONrat variety is in power. They are both in caught in a web of hypocrisy and vested interests. Who will be the first party/country in the world, to legalize everything and let the USA deal with its own addiction? Will it invite an American invasion? Probably so. |
