Funny how Ford chose to use only <40% US content for Lincoln MPVs, 40-70% US
Content for Maxdan and Mercury MPVs, and >70% US content for Ford MPVs. And
they are often built on the exact same assembly line by the same workers
(who do not have USPS vehicles without license plates). You would expect
that if the first digit of the VIN acctually meant something about content
that Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles would all have similar content, not
some <40% but not 40-100%, while some were 40-70%, but not <40% and >70% and
some never <70%. Something doesn't add up.

Mike, what was the exact URL that backs your claim? Not just go to some
goverment department site and look there.
