Hi,

My camry's light orange engine light is ON all the time. I tried
everything but its not going away. The code is telling me that
something is wrong with the EGR valve but got it checked and its
working fine. What should I do? Is there any fuse that I can pull out
to make it go away. Its really bothering me.

Thanks
John

I've turned mine off by disconnecting the battery for a minute. Of
course it'll come back on if the fault is still there.

Did you check the gasket on the gas cap? If there's an air leak it'll
trigger the check engine light. Sometimes you can just put some Vaseline
or other rubber ring lubricant on it.

Hi,

What about removing the fuse?

What fuse?

Are you serious, they would put a fuse to the light bulb for the CEL
only?

What's the code you got? Autozone or other parts stores can turn the
light off with their OBD-II reader. Or you can pull the 5A EFI fuse
for a minute.
