If there is no whip antenna, look in the rear window for an AM-FM antenna
embedded in the glass, above or below the defroster grid. I like the
antennas embedded in the glass because they don't get damaged so easily,
make no wind noise, and work well. The bump at the rear of the rood is
probably for satellite.

They don't want to sell you anything. They want you off the property so you
don't ask for a test drive and then urinate on the seats.

While you're at it, look at the buttons on the radio to see if there is one
for "Sat"

AM SAT on the buttons that also switch to FM1 and FM2 at least in the RAV4.
Antenna (no GPS) is a black nob with about 4-6" of antenna sticking up.

The satellite radio might already be installed, and after a free tiral
period like 30 days, you have to subscribe to continue use.

The dealer might not have much of a sense of humor - ask the service
department if you want the straight scoop, or check in with our ToyotaMDT
friend out west.
